A Beginning

First blog-post. At last! :) After 4 years of creating the blog, now I take the plunge.

Now I can peacefully strike 1 item off my wish-list.

Now, about the name, why ‘’Expecto Patronum’’ ? Well, basically I’m a Potterhead :P  I love to relate the regular things in life to the Harry Potter world, and this is no exception.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, or your friends are, you would have heard about these dark creatures called Dementors. They can drain peace, hope, and happiness out of the surroundings. The primary defense against these foul creatures is the Patronus Charm (Expecto Patronum!).

Though Dementors are purely fictional, many a times we do come across situations or a phase in life when everything around us would seem so bleak and negative. The moment we start brooding about our ‘’sad plight’’, we start attracting more and more negative thought around us, making us feel all the more miserable. Instead, if we decide to break ourselves free from this vicious circle and start infusing some positivity within us, we stand a better chance of emerging out of the situation with a sane mind.

When surrounded by Dementors, don’t give up. Cast your Patronus. EXPECTO PATRONUM.
